The match between Al Wakrah and Al Duhail will conclude Week 4 action of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at the Al Janoub Stadium on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The kick-off is at 8pm.

Both teams enter the match with high morale and with the aim of obtaining the three points to continue the journey in the tournament and after their victories in Week 3.

Al Wakrah managed to defeat Al Shahania 1-0 in Week 3 after draws against Al Ahli and Al Arabi, while Al Duhail have won all their matches with victories over Qatar SC, Al Rayyan and Umm Salal in that order.

Al Wakrah occupy the fourth place in the standings with five points, while Al Duhail are topping the standings with the maximum nine points.

Al Duhail, under French coach Christophe Galtier, have been performing at a distinguished level since the start of the season and it is certain that the team will strive hard to continue the journey and achieve the fourth victory in a row and reach 12 points.

The coach was also keen to ensure the readiness of a number of key players during the past period, whether through training or QSL Cup matches.

Al Wakrah’s Spanish coach Miguel Angel worked during the past period to prepare his team for the match against the leaders in addition to the upcoming important games and it is certain that he has studied the strengths and weaknesses of their competitors and will push the best available line-up of players.

Both sides have a number of prominent players.
