Al Thumama Stadium will host the encounter between Al Arabi and Al Khor in Week 4 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The kick-off is at 6pm.

Each team are looking forward to achieving the first victory of the season after they both drew two and lost one of their matches in three weeks of action.

Al Arabi started their season with a goalless draw against Al Shahania and also tied with Al Wakrah with a goal each before losing to Al Sadd in Week 3 and they have two points from as many draws.

As for Al Khor, they played a goalless draw with Al Gharafa and had the same result against Al Shahania in the second week before losing to Al Ahli 1-2 in Week 3. They are on the same two points as Al Arabi, which makes the match between the two more interesting as they attempt to advance in the standings.

In an effort to provide the best and strengthen their ranks, Al Arabi have contracted with Spanish player Rodri Sanchez from Spain’s Real Betis for three seasons. He will certainly be a strong addition to the squad of Younes Ali in addition to the other stars he relies on, most notably Marco Verratti, Abdou Diallo, Yousef Msakni, Jassim Jaber, Jassim Al Hail, Ahmed Fathi and Abdullah Marafi.

As for Al Khor, they will miss their Iraqi striker Ayman Hussein, who was recently injured playing for his national team, but coach Abdullah Mubarak will work hard with his assisting staff to prepare all available players. The team includes stars capable of providing the best, including Sofiane Hanni, Yohan Boli, Adil Rhaili and others.
