Al Sadd coach Bruno Miguel spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 7 match against Muaither.

“We realize that we are coming from a good match in the AFC Champions League (against Al Faisaly) in which we performed strongly and achieved a good result, but the reality is that it was a different match which needed a different method in order to win the three points.

“This one against Muaither is an important match because we want to advance to the top of the league standings. It is also important because we want to continue in the same way after our last result, so it is necessary to remain humble, be extremely focused, and work hard on the field in order to achieve victory,” said Bruno.

Al Sadd player Ahmed Al Saeed said, “A difficult confrontation awaits us against Muaither. We did not play in the sixth week due to our AFC Champions League participation. Our goal is to achieve victory and return to the top of the league standings again.

“We have prepared well for the match. The morale of the players is high after the recent victory against Al Faisaly of Jordan and we seek to improve from one match to another.
