Qatar SC coach Helio Sousa spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 6 match against Al Ahli.

“The Qatar SC project is attractive to me because of the keenness of the Board of Directors and the great desire to bring the team to the best levels and all the positives that result from that. Regardless of the team’s position in the standings currently, we believe in our goals and the possibility of achieving better results through hard work. Winning requires work and this is what we will do.

“Our goal must be to win every match we play, regardless of the name of the opponents, and this is the mentality that we seek in the team.

“We are trying, with the help of our fans, to achieve our first victory in this match, which is important. There is no doubt that the support of fans helps us achieve our goals. As for the preparations, we have begun working enthusiastically and the match will be difficult for both teams, especially since Al Ahli are under a new coach,” said Sousa.

Qatar SC player Motasem Al Bustami said, “We always presented good levels in the matches, but we were not lucky. Now, an important match awaits us in which we hope to appear in the best way and compete strongly.

“I have great confidence in my team-mates and the spirit in the team, and everyone in the team family is keen to provide double efforts to achieve the best results.”
