Al Shamal assistant coach Nersi Twareng spoke to the media ahead of their 2023-2024 season Expo Stars League Week 4 match against Muaither.

“An important match awaits us against a good team. During the match, we are looking forward to getting three points and achieving the first league win this season.

“We prepared well for the match over the past period, which was of course sufficient to prepare in view of the league’s break.

“All is well within the team. We will play to get three points and I hope that the team will excel,” said Nersi Twareng.

Al Shamal player Mohammed Al Jabri said, “Facing Muaither will not be easy as they are a respectable team and we must be careful and focused during the match.

“We performed well in the first rounds of the league and were in a state of focus and readiness, but we lost in the last match against Al Rayyan, a loss that we seek to compensate for during the next match against Muaither.

“We will play to get the three points and we hope that we will achieve the desired goal.”
