The Qatar Stars League (QSL) and Ooredoo announced the renewal of their partnership agreement to sponsor the 2021-2022 Ooredoo Cup, for the third season in a row.
Commenting on the renewal of the partnership contract, Mr. Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Communication at the QSL, said, “First of all, I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ooredoo Board of Directors for the continued support to football and the QSL in particular. I also commend Ooredoo for sponsoring the tournament, which gave it an additional distinction, and that was clearly evident during the previous seasons.”
Mr. Thani Al Malki, Executive Director Business at Ooredoo, said, “We’re delighted to have renewed our support for the hugely-popular Ooredoo Cup and are proud to be supporting Qatar’s talented players as they compete in such an exciting tournament. Supporting events that promote a healthy, active lifestyle is a key priority for us at Ooredoo and we look forward to seeing some inspiring games over the coming season.”
It may be noted that the 2021-2022 season Ooredoo Cup begins today (5th September, 2021). Teams have been divided into two groups through the draw held based on their standings in last season’s league championship and the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals to earn the right to play the final.
The matches of the tournament can be watched live on Ooredoo TV.
