Al Sadd got down to business ahead of their 8th February’s high-profile Qatar Clasico against Al Rayyan immediately after their 3-1 victory over Qatar SC in Week 15 of the QNB Stars League on Saturday.

The team members will have training sessions daily even though injured Algerian ace Baghdad Bounedjah is unlikely to play. He has been missing in action ever since he got injured during their Week 9 game against Al Duhail, which they lost 2-4.

However, The Wolves will have Algerian attacking midfielder Jugurtha Hamroun back from a one-match suspension.

Al Sadd have 37 points, two less than leaders Al Duhail and as many more than third-placed Al Rayyan.

The Qatar Clasico is a much-anticipated event both on and off the field. Al Rayyan had won it 2-1 in the first phase.
