Qatar SC coach Yousef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their match against Al Rayyan postponed from Week 18 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League.

“I would like to point out that we played a big match against Al Sadd in the nineteenth week and our team created the most opportunities, but in football the result can be the opposite of the performance, and I think that a draw would have been a fair result.

“Everyone is looking forward to our match against Al Rayyan, which is always full of excitement and fun. I hope the match will be attended by fans and that our fans will be present in the stadium as they used to. For us, we must be at the top of focus and this game will be a positive turning point towards achieving victories.

“Since joining the team, our philosophy has focused on striving to represent the club in the best way in terms of performance and results. So far, I am happy with the performance of the players in general despite the fact that we went through periods in which we were not lucky,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Issa Ahmed said, “We did not succeed against Al Sadd in the previous match as we lacked the correct finishing in attacks.

“With regard to our match against Al Rayyan, we made our preparations in a positive atmosphere and worked to overcome the mistakes that we faced.”
