Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Sailiya.
“A difficult game against strong opponents. Al Sailiya are one of the teams that we have difficulty in facing. Regardless of their recent results, the team has good players and they are tactically committed. So a difficult match awaits us. We have put behind the loss to Al Duhail. We are waiting for the players to have a strong reaction on the field in our bid to get back to the winning path.
“Brazilian Rafinha (Alcantara) is a great name and will undoubtedly be a strong addition to the Qatar league and to Al Arabi club.
“All players know that there are very difficult matches during the next stage. The players presented distinguished levels in the first four games, we scored 12 points.
“We are looking for the next game, which is very important. From the matches against Al Sailiya and Umm Salal, we seek to get six points before the league stops. I hope the players are fully prepared for the match and I await their reaction on the field,” said Younes.
Al Arabi player Mohammed Salah El Neel said, “Al Sailiya are a good team that will try hard to get the best result from the match and we have to compensate for the loss against Al Duhail and make our fans happy by achieving the three points against Al Sailiya.
“There are still two games left before the break and our goal is to get the most number of points.”
“We presented good levels during the first four games and gained 12 points, which is a good number, and we forgot the Al Duhail loss and it will not have an impact. We will face Al Sailiya in order to win and collect three points.”
