Al Sadd coach Javi Gracia spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 21 match against Al Khor.
“We always think about winning and the way that gives us the three points. A difficult match awaits us against Al Khor and we will play with the best 11 players available to us. All players are ready, but those who need to rest in order to recover will not play.
“The schedule is very crowded and the rest periods are very few. This is difficult for the players. Our goal is to maintain the same level until the end of the league and to show our distinctive level in the Amir Cup.
“We deservedly won the league, which is my first title with Al Sadd, and I hope we will continue in the same vein to win more titles,” said Gracia.
Al Sadd player Yousef Abdulrazaq said, “We won the league title, but we have more goals, which is not to lose until the end of the competition. Al Sadd players aim o bring out their best in every match and there is no room for wasting points.
“Al Khor are down in the standings and will certainly work to reap any point from the match against us. We, as players, will strive to focus in order to collect full points.”
