Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Arabi.

“The Al Arabi players have great harmony between them and a winning mentality, unlike us. We suffered consecutive losses although the level at which our players appeared was not bad. But we made some mistakes in positioning, defence, getting possession of the ball from the opponents and taking advantage of the opportunities.

“We need to win to get out of this current situation and our starting point will be the Al Arabi match, especially since the games between us are always enthusiastic. At the technical level, there is no big difference between the sides. But they have the psychological advantage as they are on the path of victories. God-willing, we will be more focused and determined, and I hope we will achieve positive results and show a good level in the next two matches,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Hamad Al Obaidly said, “The Al Arabi match will be difficult against a big team, a strong game against the leaders. It is of great importance to us. We will put in all efforts to achieve a positive result and come out of the game with three points.”
