Al Sadd coach Razvan Lucescu spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Al Sailiya.

“This is our fourth league match. Every game in the Qatar league is difficult, so we must be as prepared as possible.

“We need focus and mental discipline, alongside the desire to fight and work hard. We must be ready in every respect, focusing solely on this match and treating it like a final.

“This marks the start of a very busy period for us, but we must adapt to these circumstances and handle them correctly. We have a group of players here ready to play, fight, work hard and give their all to secure the win,” said Lucescu.

Al Sadd player Hashem Ali said, “The upcoming match against Al Sailiya is crucial for us. Every game matters if we want to compete for the title and the three points are vital.”
