Lusail coach Emanuel Mesquita spoke to the media ahead of their 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 4 match against Al Gharafa.

“Our goal is to maintain the outstanding form shown in previous matches and to capitalize on the positive momentum following our first victory, a 4-0 win over Al Wakrah in the last round.

“It has been a very positive week, the players are highly focused and enthusiastic, so we are ready for the upcoming challenge against Al Gharafa.

“The match will be difficult and we must be at our best,” said Mesquita.

Lusail player Khaled Walid said, “We are preparing for the Al Gharafa match with the same seriousness and focus, and the team is working at full capacity to enter the game in the best possible shape.”
