Al Kharaitiyat scored a whopping 5-1 win over Lusailin their opening match of the 2025-26 QSL Cup at the Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah Club on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The winners led 4-1 at half time.

Jordan Youri Gele (4th and 11th minutes), Abdulrahman Al Jassem (41st minute), Kais Najeh(46th minute), and Rodrigo Tabata (87th minute) were the goal getters for Al Kharaitiyat.

Lusail's only goal of the match was scored in the 8th minute by Mohamed Shaaban.

The QSL Cup, with a modern format like what is used in several continental and international tournaments,features 20 teams, including Doha Bank Stars League and Second Division teams.
