Umm Salal face Al Sadd in Week 7 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:20 at the Al Wakrah Stadium on Tuesday, 26th October, 2021.

Umm Salal, who drew 2-2 with Qatar SC in the previous round, are seventh in the league standings with five points (five draws and one defeat). They have a goal difference of -1 (seven goals for and eight against).

The Orange Fortress, under Brazilian Sergio Farias, will be keen to record their first victory. Al Ahli and Al Khor are the only other teams not to have won in this season’s tournament.

On the other hand, reigning champions Al Sadd, who beat Al Gharafa 6-4 in the previous round, are topping the table with 18 points and an all-win record, the only team to do so thus far. The Wolves have a goal difference of +17 (26 goals for and nine against).

Xavi Hernandez-coached Al Sadd are on a high, having won the 49th edition of Amir Cup last Friday after beating Al Rayyan in the tie-breaker.

Al Sadd have a star-studded line-up that includes Baghdad Bounedjah, Akram Afif and Hassan Al Haydous, whereas Umm Salal rely mainly on Isael Barbosa and Aymen Hussein.
