Al Rayyan face Al Sailiya in Week 7 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 17:20 at the Al Gharafa Stadium on Tuesday, 26th October, 2021.

Both Al Rayyan and Al Sailiya are coming off defeats they suffered in the previous round, the former losing 0-3 to Al Duhail and the latter losing 0-1 to Al Wakrah.

Al Rayyan were inflicted another blow when they lost to Al Sadd in tie-breaker in the Amir Cup final last Friday.

Al Rayyan are placed sixth with six points (one victory, three draws and two defeats). The Lions have a goal difference of -4 (eight goals for and 12 against).

Laurent Blanc-coached Al Rayyan have no time to waste if they are to storm into the top four.

Al Sailiya are 11th in the standings with four points (one victory, one draw and four defeats).

The Peregrines, coached by Tunisian Sami Trabelsi, have a goal difference of -8 (three goals for and 11 against).

Al Rayyan boast of players, such as James Rodriguez, Yacine Brahimi and Yohan Boli, whereas the Al Sailiya ranks include Mohammed Salah El Neel, Ramin Rezaien, Serigne Mboji, Adama Diomande, Driis Fettouhi and Majdi Siddiq.
