Al Sadd face Umm Salal in Week 18 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 16:40 at the Al Sadd Stadium on Wednesday, 9th February, 2022.

Al Sadd are cruising towards retaining the title as they are on 43 points at the top of the table with an unbeaten record and two matches in hand – against Qatar SC (Week 13) and Al Rayyan (Qatar Clasico, Week 14) – which were postponed.

The Wolves, coached by Spaniard Javi Gracia, have 14 victories to their credit. The 3-3 draw with closest title challengers Al Duhail in Week 9 was the only time they dropped points.

Al Sadd, who beat Al Gharafa 5-1 in Week 17, have a goal difference of +43 (61 goals for and 18 against).

Umm Salal were in outstanding form of late, but suffered a setback in Week 17 when they lost 1-2 to Qatar SC.

Umm Salal are placed sixth with 25 points from 17 matches. The Orange Fortress, under Wesam Rizik, have six wins, seven draws and four defeats against their name with a goal difference of +10 (31 goals for and 21 against).

Al Sadd had beaten Umm Salal 3-1 in the first leg of 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League.
