Qatar SC face Al Gharafa in Week 16 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 18:40 at the Qatar SC Stadium on Sunday, 23rd January, 2022.

Both Qatar SC and Al Gharafa are coming off defeat.

Qatar SC had moved from ninth to eight in the table with 16 points (four wins, as many draws and six defeats) from 14 matches following their 2-1 win over Al Arabi in Week 15.

Qatar SC’s Week 13 match against reigning champions Al Sadd was postponed on the request of Al Sadd as many of their players were infected with the coronavirus.

On the other hand, Al Gharafa, coached by Andrea Stramaccioni, had slipped from third to fourth in the table with 23 points (seven wins, two draws and six defeats) from 15 matches after their 1-3 loss to Umm Salal in Week 15.

The Cheetahs have the same number of points (23) as Al Arabi, but are placed ahead on goal difference (+4 as against Al Arabi’s -1). Al Gharafa have scored 25 goals and conceded 21.

Qatar SC had beaten Al Gharafa 2-0 in the first leg.
