Al Duhail’s Salah Zakaria has been named as the QNB Stars League’s Best Under-23 Player for the month of September, 2021, according to STATS, the official statistics and figures provider for the QNB Stars League.

During the period, Salah played four matches (Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4), with a total of 386 minutes on the pitch.

He played a key role as Al Duhail won all four of their games.

Al Duhail defeated Al Khor 4-1 in Week 1, Al Arabi 2-1 in Week 2, Al Gharafa 3-1 in Week 3 and Al Sailiya 5-0 in Week 4.

Al Duhail’s Week 5 game against Al Wakrah was postponed to a later date due to the health measures that prevented Al Duhail players from participating in training and matches.

It is now scheduled to be played on Thursday, 21st October, at the Saoud bin Abdulrahman Stadium of Al Wakrah Sports Club. The kick-off is at 19:30.

Al Duhail are now second in the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League with 12 points.

The technical analysis of Salah showed he kept a clean sheet in one match, conceded three goals and made nine saves with a percentage of 69.
