The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held the Technical Meeting for 2022-2023 season Ooredoo Cup on Sunday, 18th September, 2022, at its headquarters in Al Bidda Tower, as part of arrangements ahead of the start of competition.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Sayed, Head of Football Operations at the QSL, Mr. Abdullah Al Balooshi, representative of the Referees Department of Qatar Football Association, and representatives of competing clubs.

The following were discussed:

- Organizational procedures and format of the tournament, held in group-cum-knockout format.

- Guidelines and procedures for match day operations.

- Review of the stadiums –  the first and second rounds will be held at club stadiums, while the third to fifth rounds will be held at the training grounds for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

- Importance of attending the stadium on the specified dates on match days.

- Confirmation of the kits of clothes (main and reserve) for each team, and specifying the kits and colours of clothes that each team will wear in matches.

It may be noted that the championship will start on Monday, 19th September, 2022.
