Qatar SC will have a tough test when they meet Al Ahli in Week 4 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday, September 14, 2024. The kick-off is at 6pm.

Both teams approach the match with a strong determination to win and earn three points, following their victories in the third week. Qatar SC beat Al Shamal with a score of 1-0, while Al Ahli emerged victorious against Al Khor with a score of 2-1.

Prior to this, Qatar SC had experienced defeats against Al Duhail and Al Sadd in the first and second week respectively. However, they managed to achieve their first victory of the season last week, which allowed them to collect three points and are places ninth in the standings.

The responsibility of coaching the team has been entrusted to Youssef Safri, replacing Yousef Al Noubi, as the club officially announced the Moroccan’s return to the side.

Having previously managed the team, Safri has a deep understanding of the squad. He is expected to prepare the team thoroughly to secure three points, especially given the presence of several outstanding players, both foreign and Qatari professionals.

Conversely, Al Ahli have been demonstrating impressive performance levels, accumulating seven points and currently holding second place in the standings, just behind the leaders, Al Duhail. The team drew in the first week against Al Wakrah, secured a victory in the second week against Al Gharafa with a score of 1-0, and triumphed over Al Khor in the third week with a score of 2-1.

The Brigadiers will try to continue their strong performance this season and reach 10 points, and coach Igor Biscan will work to push the best available line-up of players to get the three points.
