Qatar SC face Al Wakrah in Week 4 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League. The kick-off is at 19:30 at the Al Janoub Stadium on Monday, 22nd August, 2022.

The result of the match and more importantly the points will be highly valuable to both the teams, given that winning the match itself will provide a great motivation for the road ahead.

While Qatar SC have four points so far in the league after the first three weeks, Al Wakrah are second on the table with seven points and will aim to continue and progress towards the top of standings.

Both teams are expected to field their best possible eleven and while Al Wakrah are in a better position, their task in the match will not be easy, especially since Qatar SC displayed fighting qualities in their last win against Al Sailiya.

Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri will want his side to keep the momentum going but at the same time he knows that the task will be difficult against The Blue Wave, who have been at their best in the tournament so far.

He is likely to depend on the same lineup as against Al Sailiya, most notably: Sebastian Soria, Bashar Resan, Anthony Okpotu, Matheus Jussa, and Mohamed Al Rabiei among others.

As for Al Wakrah coach Marques Lopez, he will rely on the technical condition of his players in order to win and push towards Al Arabi’s competition for the top spot. He will spare no efforts in choosing his best players for this clash in order to fetch the three points.

Al Wakrah have a number of distinguished players, including Jacinto Dala, the league’s top scorer so far with five goals, Mohamed Benyettou, Lucas Mendes, Omid Ebrahimi and Morad Naji.

While Al Wakrah beat Umm Salal in the third round, Qatar SC had defeated Al Sailiya.
