Al Sailiya coach Sami Trabelsi spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Wakrah.

“We seek to resume the league matches in a better way. Al Wakrah match in the sixth round is a good start for us and we will achieve a positive result. The team deserves to be in a better position and the important thing in this confrontation is to collect the three points.

“Al Wakrah are strong competitors because they include many good players, and they have a balance at the offensive and defensive levels. They have energy, enthusiasm, great ambition and stability at the technical and administrative levels, and that is a positive thing.

“We tried to correct some mistakes in the last period during the league’s suspension, especially at the level of attack, ending the attacks correctly and focusing on the tactical aspects. During the break, we also worked on correcting the mistakes made by the team that affected our level and results in the previous stage. It was an opportunity for us to evaluate ourselves and find solutions to the negatives and to correct things better,” said Trabelsi.

Al Sailiya player Abdulrahman Mohammed said, “Facing Al Wakrah is difficult and very important, and we are ready to win.

“We must win this match in order to achieve a good start after the league was suspended, and we will try our best to appear better than we did in the past matches. All our players are fully ready to compete, as per the instructions of technical staff.”
