Al Sadd coach Sergio Allegri spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 8 match against Al Arabi.

“The upcoming match against Al Arabi will be very difficult. They have a new coaching staff and although their start to the season hasn't been very good, they have distinguished players, both foreign and local professionals.

“It's a tough match and we must be fully prepared to win. Our goal is to be as close as possible to the top of the table, and that is our main objective this season,” said Sergio Allegri.

Al Sadd striker Rafa Mujica said, “The match against Al Arabi is strong and difficult.

“Mainly because it is always complicated and it is also special because it is a derby. We know how difficult the match will be. We will give 100 per cent of our effort and we know that our mission is to win, and that is what we want to achieve.”
