Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 20 match against Al Sailiya.

“I apologize to everyone for the recent loss of our team and I take full responsibility for that result. I still have great confidence in the players and I expect a positive reaction from them in our next match, especially since the preparations have taken place.

“The Al Sailiya match will be great and they are coming from a victory. They have a seasoned and distinguished coach.

“We have to focus on our team and provide the level required to achieve a positive result, and we are able to be back on the winning path with enthusiasm and will,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Jassim Al Muhairi said, “We have put the disappointment of our last match behind us, which was harsh on us. We apologize to our fans and seek compensation.

“It is possible for any team to go through a difficult period and falter, which is a possibility in football, but with determination, we can overcome any difficulties and our ambition is great and we are determined to provide the best.
