Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmadi spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 7 match against Al Sailiya.

“The Al Sailiya match is of paramount importance. We have played several matches in recent days. We hope the team will be at its best for the upcoming game against Al Sailiya.

“All matches in the league are difficult; there are no easy or difficult games. We will approach the Al Sailiya match with utmost seriousness and focus in order to achieve a positive result,” said Belmadi.

Al Duhail player Krzysztof Piatek said, “We need to be fully focused after our league defeat against Al Gharafa to prove that we are still in the title race. I think we showed our capabilities well in the previous AFC Champions League Elite match and I hope we can maintain that level in the league.

“This season’s league is more competitive, with many clubs vying for the title. There are good players and the atmosphere is also positive.”
