Al Gharafa came from being a goal down to beat Qatar SC 2-1 in Week 7 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Thani Bin Jassim Stadium on Friday, November 7, 2025.

Al Gharafa bounced back after they were reduced to 10 men after their South Korean professional Jang Hyun Soo was sent off for a challenging foul against rival Joao Pedro in the 38th minute of the match.

Three minutes later, Pedro stunned The Cheetahs with a reverse-kick goal (41st minute) after taking the ball on his chest first following a free-kick action from the centre of the danger zone.

Al Gharafa rallied to hit back with Yacine Brahimi scoring off a penalty in the 60th minute and later Seydou Sane striking in the 90th minute from top of the box.

It was Al Gharafa’s seventh win of the league and took their tally to 22 points at the top of the table, while Qatar SC remained in third with 17 points after a second loss.
