Al Ahli coach Nebojsa Jovovic spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 5 match against Al Gharafa.

“We will be ready for the match with all our strengths. Everyone is looking forward towards achieving success in every match.

“Al Gharafa are a strong side but, as the coach of Al Ahli, I trust the abilities of my players to provide the best technical levels against any team. So I focus on my team and our players will give off everything they have on the field in order to satisfy our fans with good results.

“I am happy with our performance in the last match and how they overcame the circumstances. At the same time, I am working with the administrative and technical staff and the players in order for the team to be in its best condition.

“The Al Gharafa match will not be easy. As a coach, I respect the opponents as a strong team with good professional and high-level players. But we will play the match with all our energy and our goal is victory,” said Nebojsa.

Al Ahli player Al Dokali Al Seyed said, “The important thing for me is to implement the coach’s instructions according to the method of playing for each match.

“I am looking forward to providing my best levels with Al Ahli this season and helping the team to be better than the previous season.”
