Al Arabi coach Younes Ali spoke to the media ahead of their 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League Week 4 match against Al Shamal.

“A strong match awaits us against Al Shamal. There was enough time to recover and prepare for the match, especially since Al Shamal are presenting good levels, and we hope to be ready for this game.

“There is always pressure in every game, but the presence of fans and their support for us does not put pressure on us. But on the contrary, it gives more motivation and incentive to continue, and this is not surprising for the Al Arabi fans who always support the team and motivate the players to provide the best in every match.

“We presented good levels and appeared well in the past matches, with the exception of Al Rayyan match, where I was not satisfied with the performance. In these matches, the most important thing is to secure the points regardless of the performance. We must target the maximum number of points, provided that the level of performance improves from one match to another. It is normal that there are fluctuations in the level of all teams, especially at the beginning of the league,” said Younes.
