Al Shamal coach Hicham Jadrane spoke to the media ahead of their 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League Week 12 match against Al Gharafa.

“The Al  Gharafa match, like all matches against big teams, requires great preparation and intense focus on the part of everyone in order to achieve the desired result.

“Al Gharafa are a great team with a long history and players at the highest level, and it is necessary for us to be well prepared for it.

“We are satisfied with our show in the first leg and I think we have achieved a large percentage of our goals so far.

“There are great challenges awaiting us, the leg section will witness fierce competition and we want to prove ourselves and prove to everyone that our promotion to the big league was not a coincidence, Therefore, our goal is to stay in the league,” said Hicham.

Al Shamal player Abdulaziz Metwaly said, “The match will be difficult like all league matches, especially against the big teams, but we will play it with the aim of achieving victory and collecting the three points.

“Al Gharafa were very good against us in the first leg, but the current situation is different because we seek to win and will play with full respect for them.”
