Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 8 match against Al Duhail.

“We are in for a tough encounter against a big, well-known team with top-class players and competent technical staff. They are a team that consistently performs at a high level, such as in the AFC Champions League.

“We are excited to face big teams like Al Duhail and we are well aware of the difficulties we will face in this encounter. However, we are fully prepared for the match and I have confidence in my team’s ability to perform as expected and achieve the desired result,” said Prats.
