Al Arabi produced a stunning performance to defeat Al Sadd 3-2 in a five-goal thriller in Week 5 of 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium of Al Sadd club on Friday.

Pablo Sarabia was the star for the visitors, scoring twice in the opening 13 minutes. He opened the scoring in the fourth minute before restoring Al Arabi’s lead almost immediately after Roberto Firmino had equalised for the hosts in the 12th minute.

Al Sadd fought back to level the contest just before the break when Agustin Soria found the net in the 42nd minute, leaving the sides locked at 2-2 at half-time.

However, Al Arabi struck again early in the second half. Oussama Tannane scored with a powerful left-footed shot from outside the box in the 47th minute to put his side 3-2 ahead, a lead they held until the final whistle.

The result handed Al Sadd, who are on 12 points, their first defeat of the season and boosted Al Arabi’s position in the standings as they advanced to nine points.
