Al Markhiya face Umm Salal in Week 19 of the 2022-2023 season QNB Stars League at the Al Duhail Stadium on Saturday. The kick-off is at 21:45.

Al Markhiya are in eighth place with 18 points, while Umm Salal are placed 11th with 13 points.

Al Markhiya, who have registered five victories, three draws and nine defeats from 17 matches, will try to repeat their win over Umm Salal in the first leg (2-1).

On the other hand, Umm Salal who have recorded two wins, seven draws and nine defeats from 18 matches, very much look forward to the three points in order to move away from the relegation zone.

Umm Salal, who exited the Amir Cup after losing 1-3 to Al Sadd in the quarterfinals, may be strengthened by the presence of new recruit, Serb Alex from the Chinese League, who replaced Portuguese Joao Teixeira.

The Orange Fortress also rely on a number of other players, most notably Yassin Al Bakhit, Abdullah Khafifi and Adel Al Rhaili.

Meanwhile, Al Markhiya coach Abdullah Mubarak mainly have at his disposal Driss Fettouhi, Ayoub Assal, Ali Al Marri and Jameel Al Yahmadi.
