A 66th minute strike from Rodrigo Moreno saw Al Rayyan hold hosts Al Nahda to a 1-1 draw in their Group B match of the Gulf Club Champions League played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat.

Al Nahda had moved into lead in the 35th minute of the first half through Messouke Oloumou.

Al Rayyan top the table after two games each with four points, while Al Nahda are third with two points. Al Tadamon are second with two points and Al Shabab fourth with one point.
