Al Rayyan were held to 1-1 draw by Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia in the third-round Group B match of Gulf Club Champions League at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Al Rayyan took lead in the 43rd minute with Andre Amaro scoring, while Y Carrasco equalized for Al Shabab in the 87th minute.

Al Shabab were reduced to 10 men on the hour mark after Mubarak Al Rajih was sent off.

The result saw Al Rayyan raise their tally to five points to stay on top of group standings. Al Nahda of Oman, who drew 1-1 with Tadamone Hadramout of Yemen, are second with four points. Al Nahda are third with three points and Al Shabab are fourth with two points.
