Al Gharafa have officially confirmed the signing of Romanian player Florinel Koeman from Steaua Bucharest to bolster the team for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. 

The initial contract is set for three seasons. 

The player arrived in Doha two days ago to undergo the required medical examination before finalizing the deal. He was warmly welcomed by Mujeeb Hamed, the team manager, and Eid Al Mulla, the media coordinator. 

Koeman plays as a winger and is the second player to join the Panthers after Spanish player Joselu from Real Madrid was announced. 

Having recently concluded his participation in the Euro 2024 tournament with his national team, where they were eliminated by the Netherlands in the round of 16 with a 3-0 defeat, Koeman is now ready to start a new chapter with Al Gharafa.
