Al Duhail will host Al Ahli at the Abdullah Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Duhail club in Week 18 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League on Saturday, March 8, 2025. The kick-off is at 9.30pm.

The match is expected to produce a lot of excitement and rivalry given the two teams’ positions in the standings. Al Duhail are the leaders with 38 points, while Al Ahli are fourth with 29 points.

The match is crucial for Al Duhail as they are looking to steer clear of defending champions Al Sadd, who are just one point behind in the table (37), while Al Gharafa are in third place with 34 points.

Al Ahli too have been performing wonderfully well and have imposed themselves strongly and consistently with distinguished results under the leadership of their Croatian coach Igor Biscan.

The Brigadiers will look to continue with their good form and get the better of the formidable Al Duhail as well. The first-leg match between the two side had ended in Al Duhail’s favour 1-0 and Al Ahli would be looking to get even.

Al Duhail will for sure aim to fire on all cylinders with their stars Michael Olunga, Edmilson Jr, Almoez Ali, and Karim Boudiaf, besides others, under the guidance of their French coach Christophe Galtier.
