Al Ahli's Croatian coach Igor Biscan spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 3 match against Qatar SC.

He said, "My team will play one of our toughest matches this season against Qatar SC, one of the league's most prominent teams. We need to focus on achieving victory and kick-start the team's journey this season, following two losses to Al Shamal and Al Sadd."

"The team is in dire need of a win to overcome the difficulties. We did not perform at the required level against Al Shamal but performed well against Al Sadd. However, we lacked some of the elements that would have enabled us to win.

Midfielder Michel Vlap said, "We need to put in more effort in the third-round match against Qatar SC to achieve victory and return to competition. All players are aware of the importance of the match.
