Newly promoted QSL side Al Markhiya have followed up the signing of Algerian midfielder Nadir Belhadj by confirming the signing of two further professional players ahead of the new 2017/2018 QSL season.
Club officials revealed that Saad Natiq from Iraqi side Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya has joined the side. The 22 year old defender can play in defense and midfield, and has already represented his national team on a number of occasions.
Joining Natiq will be Alain Traoré who has signed from Turkish side Kayserispor. The striker is a current Burkina Faso international and represented his country at the recent African Cup of Nations tournament held in Gabon. Traoré will be charged with firing Markhiya out of relegation trouble.
Markhiya management will now turn their attentions to securing fourth professional player for the side, before getting down to preseason training for their second ever season in the QSL.
