Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) CEO Hani Taleb Ballan congratulated the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Father Emir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and all honourable people of the country on the occasion of National Day, which falls on 18th December.

The QSLM CEO said the Qatar National Day was an occasion to celebrate both for the nationals and expatriates alike.

“This day assumes historic significance for all Qatari people, true to the spirit upheld by the nation’s founder. It’s also an opportunity to reiterate our loyalty to the wise leadership of our beloved country,” he said.

Hani called on the youth to make efforts towards knowing more about the history of Qatar and also how generations of people strove hard towards nation-building.

He pointed out that Qatar had become one of the most prestigious countries in the region and even the world, and this is the result of the tremendous growth achieved by it across all sectors.

“Development has been made in all aspects of life, so the Qatari citizens can enjoy a flourishing life, thanks to the Almighty for giving us a wise leadership.

“Our leadership has worked tirelessly towards scripting success stories in all aspects of life, be it economical, cultural or sports. Qatar has become a top sports organiser in the world and we’ve even hosted many World Championships.

“There’ve been various achievements over the past years, on and off the field, in various sports, including football. The hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be a source of pride, inspiration and hope for the entire Arab region and not just for Qatar,” said Hani.

He concluded his message by saying, “The Qatar National Day is a great chance for us to renew our pledge and commitment to our country, its leadership and the people. We thank Allah for the blessings showered on us and pray that we continue to prosper under the wise leadership of the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.”
