Al Khor defender Naïf Al Briki stressed that the coming game versus Qatar Sports club (QSC) will be treated just like any other game in the Qatar Stars League.

The player spoke to qsl.com.qa about the Round 8 fixture which will be played this Friday. “I expect it to be very tough for both sides, taking into consideration that Qatar Sports Club defeated Mesaimeer in Round 7 and will be keen to continue on a good run from now on.”

On whether Al Khor is capable of getting their first victory in the league this season against QSC
“Regardless of the result, Qatar Sports Club remains a strong team and in order to beat them we have to double our efforts. We know it is a tough game and all the coming games for us will be full of excitement and at the same time difficulty.”

On the team’s position at the bottom of the league table
“The team had very little luck in the previous games despite our good performances; we all hope to quickly improve our position in the league.”

On who is responsible for the deterioration of the team this season
 “Everyone is held liable for such bad results.”

The player wished for the team to overcome their poor start and concluded by saying, “We are at full capacity now, and our aim is to come back stronger and better in the league. Achieving our first win this season will give us a big boost.”
