Lekhwiya Sports Club have confirmed the signature of striker Mohamed Muntari formally of El Jaish player on a five year contract. fThe player signed his contract in the presence of the Club General Secretary Adnan Al Ali according to the Club official website.Muntari expressed his satisfaction on the deal, which he considers crucial for his career. Lekhwiya Sports Club will convene official press conference on Friday at 06:30 pm to introduce the player to the media.
In other news Slovakian international midfielder Vladimir Weiss has suffered a fracture in his left hand during the training session leaving him out of action for six weeks.
Weiss is considered one of the key members of the Lekhwiya squad who contributed to the team's domestic double last year. Weiss joins Chico Flores on the injury list for Lekhwiya.
