New QNB Stars League champions Al Duhail got back the services of captain Youssef Msakni from a knee injury as they gear up for their AFC Champions League fifth-round match against Iran’s Zobahan, to be played in Isfahan on Tuesday.

Tunisian attacking midfielder Msakni had sustained a minor injury during their QNB Stars League Week 21 game against Al Markhiya, which they won 4-2.

Al Duhail had become the first team to qualify for the knockout stage after the fourth round with an all-win record.

Djamel Belmadi’s men are topping Group B with 12 points, followed by Zobahan, Uzbekistan’s Lokomotiv and the UAE’s Al Wahda, in that order.

The Al Duhail squad, under Algerian coach Djamel Belmadi, was to leave for Isfahan on Sunday evening.
