Qatar Sports Club winger Moussa Al Allaq spoke to www.qsl.com.qa  at the QSL Media about his side’s preseason preparations and hopes for the season ahead. “The preparations by Qatar Sports Club for the new season were very rewarding, the team carried out a successful preseason training camp in Spain. We played a number of friendly games in both Spain and Doha.” 

The player pointed out that there are huge aspirations at the club, adding that the main aim is to do as well or better than last season. 

“This is our first goal; we must finish fourth, and hopefully get some silverware in the Qatar Cup or the league.”

Al Allaq explained that the summer signings of Moroccans Mohsen Yagur and Ismail Belmaalem will be huge assets during the coming. “I wish both players the best of luck for the season ahead, teamwork will be key for us to be successful this season,”

Allaq spoke about the competitiveness of the league and the new signings of various teams in the Qatar Stars League. 

“We have our eyes set on maintaining and defending or 4th place from last season. With the help of our Head Coach Radhi Shenaishil I am sure this is possible once more. He is a good coach and achieved a lot with the team. This year has seen a busy transfer period and this is exciting not only for the fans but for us players too.”
