QSL newcomers Al Markhiya have confirmed the signing of Qatari midfielder Mohamed Shabaan. The club announced that the player has joined from Al Arabi on a one year deal.
 
Shabaan has represented the Qatar U23 team and started his QSL career with Al Sailiya and then moved to Al Arabi before joining the Oryxes. The 23-year -old is an important signing for Markhiya who continue to strengthen their side ahead of the new QSL season.
 
The player is expected to join the team in their local training sessions before heading to Bulgaria for their pre-season camp from the 21^st of August to the 5^th of September.
