QSL newcomers Al Markhiya have confirmed the signing of Qatari midfielder Mohamed Shabaan. The club announced that the player has joined from Al Arabi on a one year deal.<br />

Shabaan has represented the Qatar U23 team and started his QSL career with Al Sailiya and then moved to Al Arabi before joining the Oryxes. The 23-year -old is an important signing for Markhiya who continue to strengthen their side ahead of the new QSL season.<br />

The player is expected to join the team in their local training sessions before heading to Bulgaria for their pre-season camp from the 21^st of August to the 5^th of September.<br />
