QSL side Lekhwiya has resumed preparations ahead of their AFC Champions League last 16 tie against local rivals El Jaish. The Red Knights trained on Monday evening fresh from their 4-2 penalty victory over Al Sadd which saw the Red Knights lift their first ever Emir Cup.
Lekhwiya have a mountain to climb in the second game, having lost 4-0 to El Jaish in the first tie. Despite the odds the side underwent training on Monday evening, under the watchful eye of Djamel Belmadi and his coaching staff. The Red Knights are also without any major injuries for the match.
