QSL champions Lekhwiya have continued their preparations ahead of their AFC Champions League tie against Iranian side Persepolis.

Djamel Belmadi’s side have been handed a major boost ahead of the Tuesday night game at Lekhiwya stadium, welcoming back leading scorer Yusef El Arabi back to training. The Moroccan international striker had been absent for the last month with a shoulder injury, but could play a part in the match against the Iranian champions. 

The tie is finely poised at 0-0, and Lekhwiya will be hoping for a positive result to push them into the quarter finals of the continental competition.
