Umm Salal's Mahmoud Jaber was adjudged the QNB Stars League’s Best Coach for the month of September 2017 as per the statistics and figures issued by Statis Company.
During the previous month, which saw the launch of the 2017-18 league season with three rounds being played, Umm Salal grabbed two wins and one tie. They defeated Al Kharaitiyat 3-1 in Round 1, followed by a goalless tie against Al Gharafa and another victory in Round 3 over Al Ahli by two goals to nil.
Umm Salal collected seven points from three games. They scored five goals and conceded only one. The number of goal-scoring opportunities reached 12 in all games. The team displayed a commendable show during September.
Statis Company looked at a number of figures and statistics for Umm Salal in these matches.
