QSL side Al Kharaitiyat has revealed a host of new signings ahead of the new QSL season which starts on the 15th of September.
The club called a press conference on Monday evening to introduce the players to the local media. Kharaitiyat overhauled its professional ranks over the summer bringing in Moroccan midfielder Abdelmoula Berrabeh, Congolese striker Jeremy Bokila along with former Ajman player Idris Fotouhi.
Whilst in terms of local talent, Amir Osim’s side has been busy picking up six local players to improve their squad. Al Kharaitiyat have picked up three players from fellow QSL side Lekhwiya with attacker Lassina Diaby, defender Khaled Radhwan and youth prospect Adel Bader all signing on for the Blue Waves.
With Kharaitiyat just finishing above the QSL relegation zone and conceding 47 goals, one of the major priorities was to brining in an experienced QSL defender. Abdulrahman Mesbeh formally of Al Ahli fitted the bill and has signed a one year deal with the side.
Kharaitiyat also raided the two relegated sides to bolster their squad ahead of the new season. Striker Mousa Allaq has been secured from Qatar Sports Club along with left back Saoud Nasser who represented Meisameer last term.
The club will now resume training in Doha till the 13th of August, before heading to their annual training camp in Slovakia. The club will take part in a number of friendly matches, before setting back to Qatar on the 30th of August. The club will then train in Doha, before their first match of the QSL season when they take on Al Sadd on Friday the 16th of September.
