Definitely it will be very tough and exciting.  Al Rayyan was promoted back to the QSL this season and they have been in great form so far. Al Rayyan is different this season and what makes it more exciting is the improvement and good form of both teams going into Saturday’s clash.

What is your expectations regarding the match itself?
It is hard to predict what will happen because both teams have a lot of strengths and good qualities.

Are you capable of winning this weekend?
Yes we can and it depends on our focus and the players’ commitment during the game. Whoever wants it more will win the game!

Will Al Rayyan’s big fan base affect you during the match?
Whenever there are more fans, the game becomes more exciting which is a positive; also the performance of the players and officials gets better.

Do you think the Head Coaches will play a big part in the clash?
Both teams have solid tactical and technical qualities. Both Head Coaches are capable of preparing their teams well. The Coach I am sure will do a good job in preparing the teams psychologically and technically, especially in the key matches. In my opinion it all goes back to a player’s determination.

When we will see El Jaish winning the QSL title?
Since El Jaish first arrived in the QSL, we have been there or there abouts at the end of the season but we lacked sufficient experience. Now the team is complete and has gained a lot of experience.

Did you expect to beat Al Arabi by four goals?
I expected to win but not with such a high score line. I think Al Arabi didn’t play too badly; it’s just that we played really well.

What are your ambitions for the current season?
We have an ongoing ambition to win the league; I hope to reap the fruits of such an ambition, hard work and determination will be key though.
